What is an executive in?

Executive In positions refer to high-level roles within an organization, such as Executive Director, Executive Vice President, or similar titles. These roles typically involve overseeing major departments or functions, making strategic decisions, and leading teams to achieve organizational goals. Executive Assistants often support more than one executive, which can create challenges such as managing conflicting priorities, coordinating multiple calendars, and handling a high volume of communications. To manage these effectively, strong organizational skills, proactive communication, and the ability to anticipate executives' needs are essential. Many successful Executive Assistants rely on digital tools for scheduling and task management, set clear expectations with each executive, and practice regular check-ins to stay aligned with shifting priorities.

Who We Are...
Wherever there is legalized gambling, jurisdictions have a set of regulations by which manufacturers and operators must adhere to. Any game or system that is released to the public must be able to show that it conforms to the required regulations. To do this, the game or system must be tested. This is where we come in. Since 1989, Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) has been the global leader in the testing and certification of gaming devices and systems. We are proud of our stability and our history of world-class customer service delivery to jurisdictions worldwide.
What You Will Accomplish Here...
As an Account Executive in the Client Services team, you will drive sales and build lasting client relationships in the North American gambling industry. You'll manage both new and existing accounts, focusing on manufacturers, regulators, and operators. Strong business development experience is essential for success in this role.

  • Deliver responsive, world-class customer service.
  • Initiate and maintain regular contact (remote and in-person) with assigned accounts.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities aggressively.

  • Grow existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Manage contracts, renewals, and negotiations.
  • Oversee the full sales lifecycle: lead generation, needs analysis, contract signing, and post-service follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Delivery, and cross-functional teams.
  • Represent GLI at industry events as assigned.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Success Profile
  • Results-driven, open to feedback, and adaptable.
  • Strong communicator and collaborator.
  • Understands audience and deliverables.
  • Exercises sound judgment aligned with company values.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years in business development or sales roles (required).
  • Minimum of 1 year in the gaming industry.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Sales, or related field preferred.
  • Experience presenting to senior-level clients.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work non-traditional hours as needed.
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines, while maintaining a realistic balance among priorities.
  • Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness.
  • Must have the ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: $80,000-$90,000 USD (based on experience).
  • Travel: Up to 40%, sometimes on short notice.
    Benefits:
For US based candidates, we offer a competitive total compensation packet, including:
    • Comprehensive Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance (100% employer paid options available)
    • Health and Flexible Savings Accounts
    • 100% Employer Paid Life and Disability Insurances

GLI is a gaming services company. Any of our employees may be required to obtain a gaming license within one or all of the gaming jurisdictions. If you are requested by GLI to obtain a gaming license, your continued employment may be contingent on your ability to obtain that gaming license.
