Executive In information

What is an executive in?

Executive In positions refer to high-level roles within an organization, such as Executive Director, Executive Vice President, or similar titles. These roles typically involve overseeing major departments or functions, making strategic decisions, and leading teams to achieve organizational goals. Executives are responsible for setting the vision, managing resources, and ensuring that the company meets its objectives. Their work often includes collaborating with other leaders, representing the organization externally, and driving innovation and growth.

What are some common challenges faced by executive assistants when supporting multiple executives, and how can these be managed effectively?

Executive Assistants often support more than one executive, which can create challenges such as managing conflicting priorities, coordinating multiple calendars, and handling a high volume of communications. To manage these effectively, strong organizational skills, proactive communication, and the ability to anticipate executives' needs are essential. Many successful Executive Assistants rely on digital tools for scheduling and task management, set clear expectations with each executive, and practice regular check-ins to stay aligned with shifting priorities.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an executive assistant, and why are they important?

To excel as an Executive Assistant, you need exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in office administration, typically supported by a relevant degree or experience. Familiarity with scheduling software, Microsoft Office Suite, and communication tools like Zoom or Slack is crucial. Outstanding interpersonal skills, discretion, and adaptability help build trust and manage high-pressure situations effectively. These abilities are vital for ensuring seamless executive support, efficient operations, and maintaining confidentiality in fast-paced business environments.

Job description

Regional Sales Executive

About sMedia

sMedia is a digital advertising and SEO provider specializing in helping automotive dealerships boost their sales, maximize marketing efficiencies, and grow their market share. We integrate advanced technology with hands-on support to deliver dynamic, inventory-specific advertising solutions tailored exclusively to each dealership's needs.

We operate with a passion for technology and a deep commitment to our core values: Growth, Reliability, Transparency, and Curiosity. We are scaling rapidly, and this role is the fundamental engine driving our next phase of North American expansion.

Role Overview

As a Regional Sales Executive, you will treat your territory as your own business. You will be responsible for building your network, establishing authoritative relationships with Dealer Principals, General Managers, and Marketing Directors, and maintaining a relentless, consistent outbound pipeline to hit our aggressive growth targets.

If you're looking to grow, expand your skillset, and make a definitive name for yourself in the automotive industry and enjoy the rewards of a highly lucrative, accelerated commission structure, this is your canvas.

  • Reporting to: Head of Growth
  • Key Collaboration Partners: Manager of Customer Growth, Market Development Lead, and Customer Success Teams.

Your Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic growth plan, actively mapping out and prioritizing key dealership prospects.
  • Build and manage a healthy, consistent sales funnel through aggressive outbound outreach via cold-calling, personalized email, and LinkedIn networking.
  • Book and complete a minimum of 30+ qualified demos per month. Your daily outreach volume must directly reflect the effort required to secure these numbers.
  • Apply a precise consultative approach, prioritizing deep listening over talking, to identify a dealership's specific operational pain points and align sMedia's advanced solutions to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate closely with our Project Managers and Customer Success Managers to successfully transition won accounts, ensuring a world-class initial customer experience.
  • Maintain immaculate CRM hygiene within HubSpot; if your interactions, pipeline stages, or multi-threaded dealership contacts are not documented, they do not exist.

Your Background, Skills, and Mindset

  • 5+ years of verifiable experience in B2B sales. Remote sales experience is highly preferred.
  • A strong understanding of dealership operations, market seasonality, and vendor dynamics is considered a massive asset. You must be comfortable speaking confidently with contacts at all levels of a store.
  • Familiarity with Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, Google Analytics (GA4), and local automotive SEO is a major asset. Google or Meta certifications are highly regarded.
  • You are highly self-motivated, self-disciplined, and thrive in a performance-driven, target-based remote work environment.
  • Fluent English verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex digital concepts into tangible, bottom-line business value for dealers. French verbal and written communication skills are an asset.
  • You possess a curious personality, are fiercely open to continuous learning, and adapt rapidly based on performance feedback.

What Else You'll Want To Know

  • This is a 100% remote role. Your only requirements are a stable internet connection, a quiet workspace, a distraction-free background, and an open calendar for live demos between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
  • A performance-based commission structure designed to heavily reward top producers.
  • Direct financial accelerators are built into the structure, meaning when you exceed your targets to help us close our pipeline gap, your earning potential increases exponentially.

What You'll Get From sMedia

  • Fully remote role
  • Extensive health and dental coverage available after 3 months
  • 15 vacation days annually
  • 10 paid sick days available annually
  • Paid day off on your birthday
  • 1:1 training and ongoing mentorship from our seasoned Sales Management team to ensure you are fully up and running within 90 days
