Role Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a willingness to be mentored and take direction from the Surveyor
  • Assist in a variety of survey-related tasks such as the setup of conventional survey and GPS systems, survey data collection, and other duties
  • Inspect, operate and maintain survey equipment, tools and vehicles
  • Full compliance and active participation in the Apex Geomatics' Health and Safety Program
  • Adherence with quality assurance procedures and quality control practices.
  • Assist in the completion of daily field documentation and reports
  • Ability to conduct yourself with a professional, cordial attitude with clients


Role Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent is required
  • 1 year of industry experience or post-secondary training in an applicable field would be considered an asset
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions
  • Have a strong attention to detail and ability to follow instruction
  • Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate with team members.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License
