Job description

Join Chase Auto, a leader in auto financing with over $85 billion in assets and partnerships with 75% of U.S. franchised automotive dealers. As part of the prestigious JPMorganChase franchise, we serve vehicle manufacturers, auto dealers, and consumers with a comprehensive suite of financial products and services—from retail lending and captive financing to commercial services like floorplan products and treasury services, including deposits, cash management, and payment processing.

As an Executive Director—Head of Content Marketing within Chase Auto, you will lead the development of content that breaks through with Chase Auto customers and reflects how customers discover and engage with our content—across search engines, social platforms, and emerging AI-driven discovery tools. You will research the way people shop for vehicles and you will ensure customers find clear, helpful, and trustworthy content at every stage of their car-buying and financing journey, no matter where they’re looking. The Executive Director—Head of Content Marketing will report to the MD, Consumer Marketing & Dealer Retail Marketing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy that aligns with business goals and enhances brand visibility and reputation.
  • Inspire and lead a high-performing content marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure initiatives are focused and drive intended business outcomes. Establish performance metrics, including OKRs, to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and provide regular reporting to senior management.
  • Map content needs across the full customer journey—from early research and affordability exploration through pre-qualification, dealership visits, and post-purchase support—ensuring the right content meets customers at the right moment with the right level of detail.
  • Lead Chase Auto’s content strategy across search, social, and emerging AI-driven discovery platforms, ensuring customers can easily find accurate and helpful information about our products and offerings.
  • Lead creative direction for content across all channels, ensuring visual and written expression is consistent, compelling, and aligned with the Chase Auto brand.
  • Own the organic social media strategy, creating content that builds trust and provides genuine value to customers and dealer partners.
  • Develop and manage an influencer program that authentically reaches target audiences—including starter and emerging professional customers—through trusted voices in automotive, finance, and lifestyle.
  • Build and manage affiliate partnerships that extend Chase Auto’s reach and drive qualified consumer traffic through performance-based relationships.
  • Build and execute strategies that increase Chase Auto’s visibility within AI-powered search and agentic platforms, ensuring customers receive clear and correct information when researching auto financing through these tools.
  • Build structured, clear, and well-organized content that helps customers—and the platforms they use—find accurate information quickly.
  • Stay ahead of how customers discover and research financial products, bringing fresh thinking to how Chase Auto shows up across the digital landscape.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Leads content strategy, social media, and/or digital marketing with a consistent record of driving measurable business outcomes.
  • Increases awareness and findability within AI-driven search and agentic platforms through modern SEO, content architecture, and distribution strategy.
  • Builds end-to-end content strategies grounded in journey mapping, translating audience needs into content by stage of decision-making.
  • Develops cohesive, cross-channel plans and provides clear direction in complex, ambiguous environments (including B2B2C contexts).
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of how search, social, and emerging digital platforms function—and how to activate them effectively.
  • Uses strong analytical skills to set KPIs, evaluate content and channel performance, and communicate insights and recommendations.
  • Manages, coaches, and develops teams; sets high standards, builds accountability, and fosters a high-performance culture.
  • Creates executive-level briefs and presentation materials, simplifying complex topics into clear, actionable narratives.
  • Engages confidently with senior leaders; articulates and persuades effectively, listens well, and incorporates feedback to improve outcomes.
  • Applies creative, continuous-improvement thinking with demonstrated knowledge and practical use of AI in marketing workflows.
  • Brings experience operating at scale within a Fortune 100 B2C environment and a passion for using deep customer understanding to inform content strategy.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • MBA
  • Auto and/or retail industry expertise
  • Consumer financial services experience
  • Partners effectively with Legal and Compliance teams—ideally within regulated industries—to deliver marketing that is both effective and compliant.
