College Fizz communities feature a private, moderated feed of posts from verified students, making it the most entertaining and authentic way to experience student life.
Our newest product, Global Fizz, brings together Gen Z both domestically and internationally, providing a space to connect around the 99% of life not represented on entertainment platforms like Instagram and TikTok. Fizz is on a mission to bring social back to social media.
What We've DoneWe first launched Fizz at Stanford in July 2021 and have since seen >95% of undergraduates join the app, half of whom use Fizz every day. Since raising a $25M Series B in July 2023, we have established ourselves as the dominant social app across 700+ colleges, begun generating revenue through advertising, and started expanding beyond college communities.
Most recently, Fizz reached #1 overall on the App Store charts in Saudi Arabia.
Where We're GoingWe have three primary goals for 2026:

The RoleWe are looking for a high-performing Account Executive or Senior Account Executive to help build and scale Fizz's advertising business. This role is ideal for a hungry, entrepreneurial seller who thrives in early-stage environments and wants to play a key role in shaping a fast-growing revenue function.
You will own the full sales cycle-from prospecting through close-and work closely with the Head of Business Solutions to drive new business with brands and agencies. You'll be responsible for building your own pipeline, developing relationships, and closing high-quality deals.
This is a cross-functional role at the intersection of sales, product, and creative strategy. Success in this role requires strong execution, curiosity, and the ability to sell consultatively.
Your responsibilities- Own the full sales cycle: Prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close new business
- Build pipeline from scratch: Develop outbound strategies across email, LinkedIn, events, and referrals
- Maintain consistent pipeline coverage (3-5x quota)
- Sell consultatively: Align Fizz's offerings (native posts, activations, UGC, custom programs) to client goals
- Hit and exceed revenue targets with a focus on repeatable deal flow
- Build and grow relationships with agency and brand stakeholders
- Collaborate cross-functionally on proposals, pricing, and campaign strategy
- Maintain CRM hygiene and provide accurate forecasting
- Stay current on digital media trends and evolving advertiser needs
- Represent Fizz in market through client meetings and industry events
QualificationsRequired- 3-6+ years of experience in digital advertising sales (publisher, ad tech, or media)
- Track record of meeting or exceeding quota ($1M+ preferred)
- Experience selling to brands and/or agencies
- Strong understanding of digital ad products (native, sponsorships, etc.)
- Ability to independently manage a full sales cycle
- Strong communication, presentation, and closing skills
Preferred- Existing relationships with agency or brand contacts
- Experience selling custom programs or integrated campaigns
- Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Experience in a startup or early-stage environment
Comp Range $90K - $110K base, $180K - $220K OTE (depending on experience)
