Job description

About the Role
The Uber Eats Global Delivery Partnerships team is seeking a highly accomplished, sharp, strategic leader to join as a Lead Global Account Executive. This role will be instrumental in developing and executing the commercial strategy for our most complex and iconic global Quick-Service Restaurant (QSR) partners, including Restaurant Brands International (RBI), Subway and Starbucks. As a Senior Global Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships, building new commercial partnerships and renegotiating existing agreements that define how these iconic QSR brands leverage Uber Direct's white-label delivery solutions.
As a Lead Global Account Executive, you will be the single-threaded owner of the global commercial relationship, accountable for driving transformational, multi-year agreements. You will architect and negotiate next-generation partnerships that establish a global commercial framework for product adoption, market expansion, and joint strategic growth across all relevant mega-regions. Success in this role requires a proven track record of establishing deep executive-level relationships, leading highly-complex, seven-to-eight-figure negotiations, and driving global initiatives that deliver significant, measurable impact to Uber's P&L.
What You Will Do
  • Executive Commercial Leadership: Lead and close the most high-stakes, sophisticated commercial and legal negotiations with senior executives at global brands, structuring global agreements that create massive, sustainable, mutual value
  • Product Adoption: Drive product adoption by clearly communicating the strategic value of Uber's products and integration capabilities, influencing significant partner investment and co-development opportunities
  • Executive Stakeholder Management: Build relationships with C-level executives and key decision makers within partner organizations. Employ critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills to navigate negotiations and difficult partner conversations
  • Cross-Functional Ownership: Act as the ultimate internal owner and voice of the brand, seamlessly orchestrating a global, cross-functional team (Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, Finance, Operations) to navigate roadblocks and ensure flawless execution of the partnership strategy across all markets
  • Thought Leadership: Champion Uber Direct's differentiated value proposition-reliability, global scale, and best-in-class integration-serving as a thought leader who can challenge partner assumptions and redefine their last-mile strategy
  • Attention to Detail: Handle the big picture and the tiny details. You are organized, timely and ensure nothing gets missed; you are also attuned to high-level strategy and consistently come up with new ways to add value to existing partnerships
  • Analytical A-Game: Develop business models and analyses with Ops Analysts to understand trends, provide meaningful insights, and track the impact of initiatives against our goals

Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 years of full-time, progressive experience
  • Experience in end-to-end global enterprise sales, strategic partnerships, and/or business development, with a demonstrated focus on complex, high-stakes commercial negotiations
  • Proven experience leading conversations and structuring deals with executive-level external stakeholders
  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications
  • Deep experience structuring and managing global enterprise agreements with complex, multi-national QSR, retail, or logistics brands
  • Prior experience in logistics, fulfillment, SaaS, or marketplace solutions, specifically supporting direct-to-consumer delivery at a high-growth, global tech company
  • Proven ability to build and execute strategic, multi-market sales plans that exceed revenue and adoption targets
  • Passionate about food and Uber
  • Exceptional executive-level communication, organizational, and collaboration skills, with a track record of driving alignment across diverse internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to flex your analytical skills and utilize data to quantify opportunities and influence decision makers
  • Excellent listening, communication, and organizational skills
  • Excellent negotiation, forecasting, and problem solving skills
  • Speed, resourcefulness, and a go-getter mentality. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and navigating ambiguity
  • Collaborative leadership. You can't help but dig in tactically, flexing your analytical skills where needed, and are equally as comfortable leading a conversation with an Engineer, Product Manager, or C-level executive to secure buy-in
  • Coachability, interest in implementing feedback, and dedication to the improvement of your craft and our team's development
