Position Specific Description

We are seeking a highly capable Program & Business Operations Leader to own endtoend delivery of a complex, customerfacing energy services program. This role sits at the intersection of Salesforce enablement, regulated utility financial management, program execution, and crossfunctional operations in a regulated utility environment and the need of HVAC industry experience.

The successful candidate will bring strong operational judgment, financial acumen, and systems expertise to translate strategy into execution-building scalable processes, ensuring regulatory and financial integrity, and providing clear executivelevel insight into program performance. This role requires comfort operating in matrixed organizations, influencing without authority, and driving results through disciplined execution.

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce & Systems Enablement

  • Own Salesforce capabilities supporting the program, including requirements definition, workflows, dashboards, reporting, data quality, and governance.
  • Design and manage customer and contractor portals, service workflows, and operational use cases aligned to program needs.
  • Partner with IT and business teams to translate operational and financial requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Ensure data integrity and actionable reporting to support decisionmaking, regulatory needs, and performance management.

Financial Ownership & Performance Management

  • Apply strong financial discipline in a regulated utility environment, including cost recovery, regulatory reporting, participant revenues, program costs, operating expenses, and auditready documentation.
  • Own regulated and unregulated financial forecasting, modeling, analytics, and variance analysis, including clear explanations of performance versus plan.
  • Track and report regulated and unregulated revenue and expense performance, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and alignment with approved program constructs.
  • Support audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory inquiries with welldocumented financial narratives and controls.

Program, Process & Project Management

  • Own a regulated program launch and steadystate operations, including launch plans, operating cadence, issue and risk management, executive updates, and performance reporting.
  • Identify operational gaps and control weaknesses; design and implement process improvements that strengthen governance, visibility, and execution.
  • Establish clear operating models, KPIs, and management rhythms to ensure predictable program delivery at scale.
  • Drive resolution of issues and escalations with urgency and accountability.

CrossFunctional & Operational Coordination

  • Coordinate regulated and unregulated billing, payments, credit checks, customer disclosures, service agreements, warranties, escalations, and contractor operations.
  • Serve as the central point of alignment across finance, accounting, legal, regulatory, IT, billing, customer service, operations, marketing, and contractors.
  • Partner with vendors and contractors to manage SLAs, performance scorecards, documentation standards, and escalation paths.
  • Ensure customer and contractor experiences are operationally sound, compliant, and scalable.

Executive Communication & Leadership

  • Prepare clear, concise VPlevel updates, including decision materials, risks, recommendations, and financial narratives.
  • Translate complex operational and financial data into actionable insights for senior leadership.
  • Operate effectively in a matrix environment, influencing outcomes through credibility, collaboration, and disciplined execution.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and a teamfirst mindset.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in business operations, product or program management, energy services, utility programs, HVAC, home services, or field service operations.
  • Deep Salesforce experience, including CRM, service workflows, reporting, dashboards, requirements definition, data management, and customer or contractor portals.
  • Strong financial acumen, with handson experience in forecasting, modeling, variance analysis, and performance reporting.
  • 3+ years of experience in regulated utility programs, including tariffed services, customer billing, cost recovery, regulatory filings, compliance, or audit support.
  • Demonstrated experience launching complex programs, mapping requirements, managing project plans, working in a regulated utility environment, and building operating models.
  • Proven ability to work through Regulated Utility and HVAC industry agreements, SOWs, vendors, contractors, SLAs, scorecards, and escalations.
  • Comfort presenting to and influencing VPlevel leadership.
Job Overview

This position is responsible for the successful ideation, development, and launch of new products as well as enhancements of features in existing products. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver and maintain high-quality products that meet customer needs and business goals.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provides mentorship for other product managers around the Product Launch process and pipeline management
  • Serves as the subject-matter-expert on customer lifecycle, research, and testing
  • Identifies new ideas around channel testing, completes analysis and shares results with critical team members
  • Identifies new opportunities for developing and launching campaigns which create more viable sales and  other opportunities
  • Develops ways to design and launch sales and other support materials to support new product/service launch and existing product growth
  • Monitors industry best practices on market, product, pricing, and customer analysis to deliver improvements in margin and Return on Investment
  • Plans, develops and executes strategic marketing plan to drive growth
  • Conducts and oversees market, product, competitive and customer research activities related to Residential and Commercial channels
  • Implements best practices around managing external product partners and vendors
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
