Join the TECO-Westinghouse Team
TECO-Westinghouse Motor Company is seeking a customer-focused and technically driven Service Application Specialist to support our growing aftermarket service business. In this role, you'll review customer requirements, develop repair quotations, coordinate with Engineering and Operations, and serve as a trusted resource for customers and Field Sales throughout the quoting process.

What You'll Do
  • Review customer specifications and service requirements to develop repair scopes of work.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates by evaluating labor, materials, vendor proposals, and engineering requirements.
  • Develop service quotations while maintaining company pricing guidelines and profitability goals.
  • Negotiate repair proposals, pricing, terms, and conditions with customers.
  • Interpret customer purchase orders and ensure all requirements are accurately captured.
  • Provide exceptional customer support by answering questions and resolving issues throughout the quotation process.
  • Partner with Service Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, and Field Sales to develop effective repair solutions.
  • Support Field Sales by serving as the internal technical and commercial resource for service opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate quotation files, negotiation records, cost estimates, and service proposals.
  • Monitor competitive pricing trends and provide feedback to support business strategy.
  • Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their business needs and service requirements.
  • Participate in customer meetings, facility visits, and occasional travel as needed.
  • Prepare reports and provide updates on quoting activity and service opportunities.
  • Continue developing technical knowledge of electric motor repair processes and TECO-Westinghouse service offerings.
  • Maintain compliance with company safety policies, ISO 9001 quality standards, and all applicable company procedures.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience supporting industrial products, customer service, applications, quotations, technical sales, or a related business function.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in electric motors, rotating equipment, industrial manufacturing, or repair services.
  • Experience preparing technical quotations, cost estimates, or repair proposals.
