Position: Executive Assistant for Wingspan Life Resources


Wingspan Life Resources is a nonโ€‘profit organization dedicated to empowering adults with developmental disabilities to achieve independence, inclusion, and productivity in their communities. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Executive Assistant to join our team and support the executive leadership in driving our mission forward.


The Role

As the Executive Assistant for Wingspan Life Resources, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization. You will work closely with our Executive Director and other senior leaders to handle a wide range of administrative and executive support tasks. Your efficient and proactive approach will be pivotal in helping us carry out our mission and make a positive impact on the lives of the individuals we serve.


Responsibilities

  • Provide highโ€‘level administrative support to the Executive Director and assist with scheduling, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements

  • Prepare and proofread various documents, reports, and presentations

  • Manage and maintain confidential information with discretion and professionalism

  • Act as a liaison between the Executive Director and other staff members, board members, and external partners

  • Conduct research and gather data to support decisionโ€‘making and project management

  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, and respond in a timely and professional manner

  • Coordinate and plan events and meetings, including room reservations and catering arrangements

  • Create and maintain organized and accurate records and files


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role, preferably in a nonโ€‘profit environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other commonly used business software

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail
