Position Overview

The Director, Executive Events and Field Engagement, is a senior marketing leader responsible for developing and executing integrated executive engagement, field marketing, and event strategies that drive customer engagement, pipeline growth, customer retention, and brand differentiation. This role owns Elite's executive engagement and field marketing portfolio-including VANTAGE User Conferences, Leadership Exchanges, executive programs, industry tradeshows, regional field events, customer experiences, and executive/product webinars-ensuring each program delivers measurable business outcomes and premium customer experiences. 

This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, translating business priorities into scalable, high-impact event programs, including the use of AI-driven automation to extend engagement and improve performance. The Director partners closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, Advisory Services, and Executive Leadership to design experiences that deepen relationships, accelerate deals, and strengthen customer advocacy.  
As a hands-on leader, they play a direct role in delivery-developing executive presentations, shaping event content, and hosting or facilitating key experiences to ensure exceptional execution. 

The ideal candidate brings a blend of strategic vision, operational rigor, and creative excellence-with a track record of delivering complex, executive-level events that influence pipeline, customer retention, and brand perception. They thrive in a player-coach environment, balancing strategic leadership with direct execution, and are comfortable operating as the driving force behind both the vision and delivery of Elite's most critical events.

Responsibilities

Executive & Field Engagement Strategy 

  • Own the end-to-end executive engagement and field marketing strategy aligned to company priorities, target segments, account-based marketing objectives, and customer lifecycle stages.
  • Build and manage a tiered engagement portfolio that includes VANTAGE, Leadership Exchanges, executive programs, customer events, tradeshows, regional field events, and webinars.
  • Develop and lead Elite's field engagement strategy in partnership with Sales and Marketing leadership.
  • Build regional and account-based engagement programs that drive pipeline growth, customer retention, and executive relationship development.
  • Translate business goals into engagement roadmaps with clear objectives, audiences, success metrics, and expected business outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to elevate Elite's market presence through differentiated, high-impact experiences.
  • Drive integration between executive engagement programs, events, demand generation, and customer marketing efforts. 

Flagship Experiences & Executive Programs

  • Lead strategy and execution for VANTAGE User Conferences and Leadership Exchanges globally.
  • Design executive and VIP experiences that drive peer engagement and strengthen C-level relationships.
  • Personally develop and deliver executive-level presentations, including keynotes, boardroom sessions, and customer-facing presentations, partnering with Product Marketing and executive leadership to craft compelling narratives and thought leadership content.
  • Serve as host, moderator, or facilitator for flagship sessions, executive roundtables, leadership exchanges, webinars, and virtual events to ensure high-quality, engaging experiences.
  • Ensure a premium, high-touch attendee experience across all flagship and executive programs.
  • Develop executive-ready materials, including briefings, scripts, presentations, and post-event summaries. 


Event Execution, Operations & Experience Delivery 

  • Own and lead end-to-end event execution, including operations, production, logistics, staffing, and on-site experience delivery.
  • Lead strategy and execution for tradeshows, field events, customer programs, and executive/product webinars.
  • Define booth strategy, engagement models, and programming aligned to pipeline and customer engagement goals.
  • Set standards for branding, environment design, and hybrid experiences to ensure a differentiated, high-quality presence.
  • Manage budgets, vendors, timelines, contracts, and scalable operational processes.
  • Serve as the accountable owner for event delivery, ensuring excellence from concept through post-event follow-up.
  • Lead critical execution elements, including content development, speaker preparation, run-of-show management, and on-site orchestration.
  • Design, build, and scale AI-powered capabilities across engagement programs, including event intelligence, invitation orchestration, webinar production, executive follow-up, post-event conversion, and ROI analysis to extend reach and improve efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and company objectives. 

Performance, Insights & Cross-Functional Leadership 

  • Define and track engagement and event KPIs, including pipeline influence, sourced revenue, customer engagement, retention impact, and ROI.
  • Deliver executive-ready reporting, insights, and recommendations to leadership.
  • Translate performance insights into actionable improvements across content strategy, experience design, audience engagement, and execution.
  • Partner with Marketing Operations to ensure accurate measurement, attribution, and system integration.
  • Act as a strategic partner to Sales, Product Marketing, Customer Success, Advisory Services, and Executive Leadership.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment across stakeholder groups and manage relationships with internal teams, agency partners, and vendors.
  • Mentor internal team members and external partners to drive excellence, consistency, and scalability across engagement programs. 

 
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 8-10+ years of experience in B2B event marketing, field marketing, executive engagement, or integrated demand generation programs, including ownership of large-scale conferences and executive programs.
  • Proven track record of being a hands-on event leader-personally building presentations, leading event execution, and hosting or facilitating executive-level sessions.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles, account-based engagement, and customer lifecycle marketing.
  • Demonstrated expertise in event strategy, experience design, and operational execution at scale.
  • Experience collaborating with executive stakeholders and presenting to senior leadership.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.  
  • Demonstrated experience using AI and automation to scale event or marketing programs, including applications in content generation, audience engagement, and performance optimization.
  • Ability to travel up 10-25% as business needs require.
  • Role requires the following physical capacity: Sedentary: primarily desk/computer work
