Mozaic Senior Life is seeking an Executive Director to help lead the organization through its next chapter of growth, transformation, and long-term sustainability, specifically launching the new Independent Living Concept in Stamford. This is a rare opportunity to step into a mission-driven, high-performing organization at an inflection pointโ€”one that combines the heart of human services with the rigor of a complex, multi-business enterprise. With a $30M operating platform, consistently high census, strong board engagement, a diversity and depth of services and programs, and a major Life Plan Community development underway in Stamford, Mozaic Senior Life is evolving from a single-campus healthcare provider into a diversified, multi-site organization that increasingly blends healthcare, hospitality, and community-based services. The Executive Director ensures compliance with all current industry standards, regulations, and guidelines.

  • Implement mission, vision, and goals of the organization.
  • Carefully manage and ensure occupancy remains above plan through continuous community marketing and providing top-level service to existing residents.
  • Provide strategic input, planning, and leadership on issues affecting the organization.
  • Ensure development of sound programs, best practices, policies, and procedures relating to marketing, public relations, resident services, fiscal/budgetary matters, health care services, facilities management and development, risk management, quality assurance, hospitality and first impressions.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Provide timely and accurate analyses, reports, and recommendations to Mozaic Senior Life concerning the operation of the Life Plan Community and CCRC at Home Program.
  • Plan, direct, and evaluate the activities of Department Directors.
  • Effectively communicate with the residents, associates, and all other constituencies.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and operate the Life Plan Community and CCRC at Home within the budget guidelines.
  • Represent the Life Plan Community and CCRC at Home and build relationships within the geographic area, the community and industry.
  • Administer employee policies and procedures. Develop, maintain and periodically update written policies and procedures and job descriptions. Orient staff and train on policies and procedures.
  • Attend in-service classes and staff meetings.
  • Continue to develop job-related knowledge, skills, and abilities by participating in continuing educational opportunities for personal growth and development.
