Position Title: Director of Wellness

Department: Wellness

Exempt Status: Exempt

Salary: Starting at $90,000 per year


GENERAL SUMMARY:


The Director of Wellness will provide leadership and support to the Care Department to ensure that our community of 400+ residents receive compassionate, high-quality resident care.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

  • Conduct resident assessments and ensure that care plans are being followed.
  • Communicate regularly with residents, families, and team members to provide quality care and peace of mind.
  • Lead and supervise the Care Department, including Med Techs and caregivers.
  • Oversee the medication room, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain compliance with all state and company standards.
  • Prepare and submit reports for state agencies and leadership team.
  • Partner with the Executive Director to support resident care needs and community standards.
Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:


This position requires an active LVN license and preferred RCFE license.

A minimum of 5 years experience in assisted living and management experience.

Current RCFE Administrator License.

Previous supervisory and/or management experience in Assisted Living.

Experience with dementia-care practices and communication strategies.
