Job Posting - Assistant Executive Director
Assisted Living / Residential Living Community
Your Role as the Assistant Executive Director
As the Assistant Executive Director, you'll play a key support role within our Assisted Living campus or Residential Living community. You'll work closely with the Executive Director to support daily operations, team leadership, resident experience, and administrative functions-while gaining hands-on exposure to all aspects of senior living management.
This role is ideal for a motivated, growth-minded professional who is eager to learn, contribute, and build a long-term career in senior living leadership.
This role may also be known as:
Assistant Administrator, Assistant Executive Director, Assistant Community Administrator, or Assistant Manager (Assisted Living) / Manager in Training.
What You'll Do
  • Support the Executive Director with day-to-day community operations
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and supporting frontline team members
  • Provide operational oversight and support to various departments as delegated
  • Assist with administrative and financial tasks, including basic reporting and documentation
  • Serve as a sales and marketing support partner, including:
  • Participating in prospective resident tours
  • Assisting with lead follow-up
  • Entering and tracking information in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Collaborate with community marketing partners to support census growth and resident engagement
  • Promote strong communication, teamwork, and accountability across departments
  • Help maintain a welcoming, organized, and resident-centered community environment

What You Bring
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Willingness to obtain Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification (required)
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and support multiple areas of community operations
  • Professional, friendly demeanor when interacting with residents, families, prospects, and team members
  • Interest in leadership, operations, and long-term career growth within senior living
