Job description

Amazon Business and Corporate Development has an exciting opportunity for an Executive Assistant looking to jump into the fast-paced world of Corp Dev.
This role will support three Directors on the Corporate Development team who are responsible for executing acquisitions, investments, and strategic transactions in partnership with businesses across Amazon. The role provides unique exposure to some of Amazon's most impactful transactions and broad visibility to businesses across the company.
A proven track record of effective time management, taking initiative, working independently, delivering results, and exceeding expectations is important. You should have strong judgement, and keen sense of when to take action when faced with ambiguity. Experience executing complex tasks under tight deadlines and balancing multiple critical requests with appropriate prioritization is a must. A demonstrated history of working cross-functionally with other Executive Assistants is key. You should be highly detail-oriented and demonstrate sound written and oral communication. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism when interacting with senior professionals both inside and outside the company is critical.
This role requires five (5) days a week in office.
Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Effectively and proactively support 3 Directors, based in Seattle, Boston, and San Francisco.
- Complex calendar management and optimization
- Expense reimbursement
- Coordinate global schedules, travel arrangements, and seamless meeting logistics such as video conferencing and conference calls for internal and external meetings
- Organize, prioritize and appropriately handle time-sensitive, confidential information and ensure the action required is addressed in a timely manner
- Event coordination, both internal and external
- Space management
- Catering and supply orders

Corporate Development (Corp Dev) is a dedicated team that works with Amazon's business units and senior leadership to identify, evaluate, and execute strategic acquisitions and investments that accelerate the next phase of Amazon's growth. Our teams regularly work with external companies and start-ups to find new opportunities and potential partnerships. A few notable acquisitions include Twitch, Ring, eero, Audible, IMDB, Wondery, Whole Foods, Kiva Systems and IMDB.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of executive assistant experience
- Experience with executive level calendar management
- Experience with domestic or international travel coordination
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
- Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency
- Bachelor's degree

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
