Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a Business Development Executive (BDE) position is a sales role with tremendous growth opportunity. As a BDE you will be responsible for leading the sales strategy to potential clients with an emphasis on the Department of Defense Fourth Estate with a focus on the Defense Logistics Agency and the Office of the Secretary of Defense.
 
At Xcelerate, the BDE is accountable for achieving pipeline, sales, and business development results that meet or exceed assigned targets.  The successful candidate will be responsible for elements of the entire sales cycle, from identification and development through progression and ultimately assisting with opportunity closure. Responsibilities
 
  • Identify, progress and track opportunities for potential Xcelerate business with Government clients in the 4th Estate.
  • Build trusted relationships with key Department and Agency decision makers and executives to promote the Xcelerate capabilities and position the company to pursue and win opportunities.
  • Create and deliver effective client presentations that address the specific needs of a client.
  • Develop and execute business development and account plans and coordinate all sales efforts to achieve targets.
  • Support the development of a marketing strategy as well as actively participate in Industry and Government events and networking opportunities for lead generation.
  • Collaborate with the broader team to support the capture and proposal efforts that ultimately drive new business for the company.
  • Collaborate with Executive Leadership Team in executing the company’s sales process to achieve growth objectives.
Minimum Requirements:
 
  • Five years of successful DoD 4th Estate industry experience or equivalent Government service.
  • Experience and successful track record as Business Development professional in the Federal services market.
  • Experience managing sales pipeline, forecasting, and closing deals as well as using formal sales capture processes.
  • Experience with relevant acquisition processes, procedures, and laws
  • Ability to interface with senior executives to understand their key challenges and initiatives and be able to map the right Xcelerate capabilities to meet their requirements
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Proven record as a team player with strong leadership, problem solving, and decision-making abilities
