Work Schedule: Various schedules available including full time, part time and relief. Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm
A Day in the Life of a Job Coach:
In this vital role, you will support participants in successfully preparing for and/or maintain competitive community integrated employment.
  • Work with participants to develop work habits like punctuality, hygiene, productivity, etc. that are necessary to obtain and maintain employment
  • Models appropriate work behavior
  • Transports participants to and from work sites
  • Provides accurate information to the Program Supervisor and Case Manager about the participants progress
  • May perform job tasks along with participants
  • Uses resources to assist participants with employment/job exploration and discovery
  • Completes documentation as needed

Who We are Looking For:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Excellent communication skills
  • One year of work experience working with individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities and/or in a vocational rehabilitation setting preferred.
  • Must possess a valid NYS Driver's License that meets agency driver standards.
