Job description

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
This role leads Nike's Global Distribution function within Supply Chain Planning & Operations. The Sr. Director manages global, direct and virtual teams and partners closely with Geography Supply Chain leaders, Technology, Operations, Procurement, Finance, and senior enterprise stakeholders to align strategy, execution, and investment decisions across the distribution network.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
This leader sets direction for Nike's global Distribution network and operates with enterprise mindset and executive credibility. They bring deep distribution and supply chain expertise, strong financial acumen, and the ability to translate complexity into clear decisions. They are accountable for shaping strategy, governing portfolios, and driving results across cost, service, and scalability.
This role requires a confident people leader who can align global teams, influence senior stakeholders, and navigate ambiguity across geographies, business models, and external risk. The ideal candidate balances long-term network strategy with near-term operational demands, challenges legacy approaches, and builds capabilities that scale. They lead with clarity, hold teams accountable, and develop talent while maintaining strong partnerships across the matrixed organization.
The candidate will bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
  • 10+ years of experience in distribution, supply chain management, third-party logistics, or supply chain finance within a global company
  • 10+ years of people leadership experience, including global and virtual teams
  • Strong experience with program governance, portfolio management, and large-scale capability delivery
  • Advanced financial acumen, including cost modeling, return on investment evaluation, and forecasting
  • Ability to work in Beaverton, OR

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
You will own the strategy, governance, and execution of Nike's global Distribution network. Your focus is enabling scale, efficiency, and resilience while ensuring teams, technology, and partners are aligned to enterprise priorities.
  • Lead Nike's Global Distribution Network, aligning Geography leaders on strategy, priorities, and shared capabilities
  • Serve as executive business sponsor for Distribution technology, including Warehouse Management Systems and emerging Artificial Intelligence solutions
  • Define and govern the Distribution charter, engagement model, and global portfolio prioritization
  • Set the global strategy for distribution center automation to drive scalability, throughput, and cost efficiency
  • Lead cost impact assessments and executive-level analysis in response to volume shifts, cost pressures, and network changes
  • Manage executive-level relationships with global third-party logistics partners and internal stakeholders
  • Build and lead a high-performing Distribution leadership team through clear goals, accountability, and talent development
