Job description

Chief Information Officer Santa Fe, NM - Relocation assistance available $300,000

ShortList is looking for a Chief Information Officer to join the executive leadership team of an established financial institution in New Mexico. The Chief Information Officer will own enterprise technology strategy across the full IT landscape and report directly to the CEO. This role would suit someone with 10+ years of technology leadership and with experience of leading a Digital Transformation programme. The role is on-site in New Mexico but relocation assistance is available.

Key Responsibilities for the Chief Information Officer role
  • Set and drive enterprise technology strategy as a member of the executive leadership team
  • Own enterprise infrastructure, technology operations and business continuity
  • Lead cybersecurity and information security across the organization
  • Play a pivotal role in the Digital Transformation programme
  • Own enterprise data strategy, data governance and business intelligence capability
  • Drive automation and process standardisation across departments
  • Manage technology governance, vendor relationships and third-party risk
Key skills for the Chief Information Officer role
  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent
  • 10+ years of demonstrable technology leadership including executive-level responsibility
