Position Overview
The City of Atlanta is seeking an IT Administrative Support professional to provide high-level administrative and operational support to executive leadership. This role involves managing executive calendars, coordinating meetings, handling administrative tasks, and providing Tier 1 IT support. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, punctual, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct administrative support to executive leadership
- Manage executive calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements
- Handle Tier 1 IT support tickets and basic technical assistance
- Answer phone calls, emails, and respond to inquiries professionally
- Maintain department records, files, and documentation
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and meeting materials
- Take meeting notes and distribute minutes
- Manage conference room scheduling and ensure equipment readiness
- Assist with office operations and special administrative projects
- Welcome visitors and provide general office support
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience supporting executive leadership directly
- Experience managing executive calendars and scheduling meetings
- Strong administrative, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong punctuality and reliability
- Ability to work onsite full-time
