What You’ll Be Doing:
 
Own your territory– Build and execute a winning game plan that includes gathering intelligence on prospects, developing new business, and strategically closing deals that matter.
 
Take market share– Target high-value opportunities and win over major customers from competitors with bold strategies and relentless follow-through.
 
Be the go-to partner– Become your customers’ trusted advisor by truly understanding their challenges and delivering smart, scalable security solutions.
 
Know the tech, tell the story– Partner with your pre and post sales teams to review bid docs, technical drawings, and specs. Break them down, translate them, and collaborate internally for effective customer conversations.
 
Stay organized, stay sharp– Own your pipeline. Keep our CRM up to date with accurate revenue forecasts, close dates, and sales stage tracking.
 
Work cross-functionally like a pro– Collaborate with engineering, project management, and our service team to make sure your customers get the white-glove treatment from pitch to post-install.
 
Primary Responsibilities:


Account Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, managing day-to-day relationships and ensuring long-term client satisfaction
  • Develop and execute robust account plans with actions and strategies to grow wallet share.
  • Drive account growth through proactive upselling, modernization and technology refreshes, cross-selling of products and services tailored to client needs
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to meet revenue targets and expand engagement across departments (e.g., Facilities, Nursing, School Superintendents, IT, Finance, Loss Prevention, C-suite)
  • Monitor account performance, track KPIs, and resolve issues with a client-centric, solution-oriented approach
  • Respond to qualified RFPs and assist in preparing tailored proposals and presentations for prospective clients
  • Develop and maintain industry relationships with consultants, contractors, and manufacturers to support client development
  • Represent the company at trade shows and participate in local associations to stay visible and build pipeline opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards in all account management and client-facing activities

Solution Design & Technical Sales

  • Conduct on-site physical surveys to assess client needs
  • Design systems in alignment with client requirements and company standards
  • Clearly communicate complex technical concepts and services in a consultative, client-friendly manner
  • Prepare and deliver customized sales presentations and proposals that translate product features into tangible business benefits

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Operations, Finance) to deliver client value
  • Provide strategic insights and account feedback to support product development and go-to-market strategies
  • Collaborate with Marketing to create and implement account-specific campaigns and initiatives

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive activity, and market dynamics impacting key accounts
  • Share insights and strategic recommendations with leadership to support broader business planning and strategy

Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • 3 to 7 years of experience in the Security/Integration Industry
  • Proven history of sales success identifying and developing (hunting) new business opportunities
  • Experience building network of business relationships to create sales opportunities
  • Valid Driver License and acceptable driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of fire alarm codes, equipment, industry
  • Experience working with architecture and design (A&D), real estate, and construction companies
  • Bachelor's Degree
The salary range for this position is $80,000–$110,000 annually, plus commission. The starting salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
