Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant Howell NJ

We are seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our multidisciplinary practice in Howell NJ. Our ideal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant has tact and skill in patient management, excellent communication skills, and enjoys working as a part of a comprehensive team to offer our patients the best care possible, that they need and deserve! Ideally, we are seeking a provider who has experience with pain management/physical and sports medicine, with the potential to do joint and trigger point injections. This position offers excellent work life balance with no call, no hospital rounds, and no weekend hours- ranging from 20-30 hrs per week.

Job Duties:
  • Patient care and management- initial medical (orthopedic focused) consults and patient follow up
  • Recommend tests and conducts diagnostic testing to determine extent of injury and to determine appropriate treatment.
  • Order Diagnostic labs/imaging
  • Oversee the patient’s diagnosis and treatments
  • Order DME as needed
  • Treatments to include joint injections as needed
  • Documentation - timely and accurate
  • Order/refer to in house therapies as needed
  • Collaboration with colleagues and staff for comprehensive patient care
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Educate patients on diagnosis, treatment options, and health management
  • Uphold the company’s mission to provide exceptional patient care and leads in a way that aligns with the company’s goals

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • NP/PA license to practice in NJ
  • Experience with orthopedics/pain management and joint injections preferred

Schedule:

  • 20-30 hrs per week
  • No Call or Weekends!

Salary:

  • $75 per hour
