Job description

Sr. Account Executive - Allergy, Asthma & Immunology - N. California
Join Accredo as a Sr. Account Executive supporting Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology therapies, where you will help connect patients and providers to life-changing specialty medications. In this territory-based role, you will build strong physician relationships, drive referral growth, and collaborate across stakeholders to expand access to advanced biologic therapies while delivering exceptional customer and patient experiences.
Responsibilities
  • Drive growth of assigned specialty therapy products including Immune Globulin (IG), Hereditary Angioedema (HAE), and Asthma/Allergy biologics within the defined territory.
  • Serve as the primary sales contact for physician offices, outpatient infusion suites, and independent infusion centers.
  • Build trusted relationships with physicians, nurses, and referral sources to support consistent referral generation and therapy adoption.
  • Advocate for customers by coordinating internally to ensure timely access, smooth onboarding, and high-quality service delivery.
  • Partner with National Account Managers to support local managed care pull-through and contract implementation.
  • Develop territory sales plans and forecasts based on account profiling, referral trends, and market insights.
  • Track referral activity and business performance to ensure progress toward sales objectives and revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with pharmaceutical manufacturers to support growth of advanced therapies.
  • Participate in conferences, exhibits, sales meetings, and patient support group events to expand professional presence and education.
  • Engage in case conferences and educational discussions with physician offices as appropriate.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, specialty therapies, nursing, or related healthcare roles.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare providers.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently in a territory-based sales environment.
  • Ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
  • Residency within or near the defined territory in Northern CA

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Pharmacy, Nursing, or a related field (preferred, not required).
  • Experience selling specialty pharmacy or biologic therapies.
  • Knowledge of infusion, immunology, or pulmonology patient populations

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
