Overview
We are seeking a Geospatial Account Manager who is passionate about leveraging cutting-edge geospatial technologies to deliver value to clients across commercial sectors such as Oil and Gas, insurance, agriculture, mining, and other industries. As a member of the Commercial Sales team, you will manage and grow a portfolio of accounts by acting as a trusted advisor and developing new business opportunities. You will work closely with clients to understand their operational challenges and co-develop solutions using NV5 Geospatial Software, monitoring technologies, and integrated geospatial workflows that enhance decision-making and transform business processes.
As part of the account team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic growth plans within your accounts to meet and exceed revenue targets. You will utilize your professional experience and network to expand NV5's presence in commercial markets.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers in commercial sectors (insurance, agriculture, mining, and related industries) to identify opportunities for NV5 Geospatial Software and monitoring solutions.
  • Win new clients by identifying key target accounts in your territory and developing capture plans that lead to successful partnerships.
  • Clearly articulate the value proposition of NV5 Geospatial Software and GeoAI solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities for business growth.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of industry trends and how geospatial technologies apply to commercial market challenges.
  • Understand client business drivers, budgeting processes, and acquisition cycles.
  • Execute lead generation strategies, including targeted campaigns and outreach.
  • Work together with Marketing, Pre-Sales, Account Managers, Sales Leadership, and Software Teams to drive measurable growth toward strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with current Account Managers to deliver software solutions to established commercial sectors, including Electric Utilities and Oil & Gas.
  • Work closely with Portfolio and Program Managers to define client scope, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Successfully execute the sales process for all opportunities.
  • Represent NV5 at trade shows, workshops, and industry events as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads and opportunities in CRM (Salesforce).

Qualifications
Competencies & Skills:
  • Domain experience in commercial markets such as insurance, agriculture, mining, or related industries.
  • Experience in enterprise sales or customer-facing role selling technology services and/or software products.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, engineering, or a geospatial field (e.g., GIS, remote sensing, geography).
  • 3+ years of experience providing geospatial technology solutions to clients in commercial sectors.
  • Understanding of geospatial software platforms, remote sensing technologies, and integrated geospatial solutions.
  • Strategic thinker with executive presence and ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate technology trends into solutions that address client needs.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple activities effectively.
  • Highly motivated team player with a positive attitude and passion for business growth.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with NV5 Geospatial Software solutions and monitoring technologies.
  • Familiarity with lidar, imagery, and GIS applications.
  • Experience in Enterprise sales.
