This is a rare chance to join our client, a globally recognized aerospace manufacturer, a company that has spent 75+ years pushing the boundaries of turbine engine technology. Consistently ranked among the world's best employers, this publicly traded organization backs that reputation with a culture that genuinely prioritizes its people.

  • Stability and momentum, a growing public company with deep industry leadership
  • Benefits that start on day one, premium health coverage and a 9% 401(k) match, one of the strongest in the industry
  • Employer-funded retirement savings contribution each pay period
  • A workplace culture built around collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement
  • Structured development programs to help you grow into your next role
  • On-site fitness center access

Relocation: We'll get you here. This role comes with a full relocation package, moving expenses, temporary housing, and transition support, to bring the best candidate to our client's flagship Northern New Jersey facility, not just the closest one. Job Summary:

The selected candidate will report to the Plant Manager and provide managerial and leadership support to the Procurement and Supply Chain Team to ensure Business Unit goals are met through the execution of procurement strategies, including securing supply, cost savings, process optimization, and supplier risk mitigation. The overall goal is to support the production schedule while obtaining the best achievable value for supplies and services while maintaining compliance with company procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly responsible for overall Plant procurement operations, including direct, indirect, and Capital spend
  • Provide guidance and leadership to Plant Procurement Specialists and Supply Chain Planners

  • Share savings targets with Location Management, Category Management, and stakeholders
  • Manage supplier sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and execution of agreements
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues as they arise
  • Review Plant Procurement metrics and drive action to hit Plant and BU targets
  • Ensure ERP-related procurement processes are executed successfully, including system enhancement implementations
  • Responsible for raw material forecasting, inventory management, cost management, and BOM issue research
  • Oversee ERP item and raw material transactional activity, including cycle count program monitoring
  • Manage project-related teams and plant procurement and supply chain initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 years' experience in Procurement or Supply Chain
  • Knowledge of procurement and financial compliance best practices (Sarbanes-Oxley, UCC Laws, Import/Export Laws)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship not available
  • Role involves access to export-controlled items; offer contingent on ability to lawfully obtain access

Preferred:

  • Procurement experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to write and negotiate complex contracts
  • Oracle or similar Enterprise Business System experience
  • Willingness to be on the shop floor regularly
  • Strong ethics, integrity, and audit/compliance orientation
