Position OverviewAs the AR Specialist - Billing, you'll be responsible for accurate billing, maintaining customer accounts, and driving efficient billing processes. You'll bring a strong understanding of AR processes, a knack for problem-solving, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and issue accurate, timely invoices based on contracts and service deliveryMonitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balancesPost daily cash receipts and resolve discrepanciesSubmit disputes through customer portalsMaintain comprehensive billing recordsProcess credit memos, adjustments, refunds, and write-offsReconcile AR sub-ledger with general ledger and customer accountsCollaborate with internal departments to resolve billing issuesGenerate and distribute aging reports and support month-end closeTrack and report on AR metrics such as Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations

RequirementsExperience: 1-3+ years of experience in accounts receivable or billingEducation: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferredProficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Great Plains, SAP)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExperience in high-volume AR or shared services environments, preferredKnowledge of trade promotion, EDI, and retailer deduction practices (e.g., Walmart, Amazon), preferredFamiliarity with root cause analysis and continuous process improvement methodologies, preferredIntermediate to advanced Office 365 skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.85/hr.
