Job Description Summary
The USCAN Cardiovascular VP owns the commercial product strategy across the USCAN market. Through building and sustaining high performing teams, driving product specialization, and enhancing customer experience, this role ensures a cohesive regional Cardiovascular strategy, supporting GEHC customers and employees. This role proactively defines the Cardiovascular commercial product strategy and works in conjunction with USCAN Markets to deliver the strategy in the field. This role is a key member of the USCAN AIS leadership team, partnering with Region commercial teams and Ultrasound Global Segment, to drive customer satisfaction and business growth.
Job Description
Responsibilities
  • Lead segmentation and product specialization strategy across the Cardiovascular portfolio for the USCAN region; responsible for win rate, visibility, market share expansion and margin accretion
  • Own strategies and tactics to drive win rate and share gain in USCAN Markets
    • Understanding/voicing product needs to Cardiovascular global team, influencing product messaging on features/benefits, value propositions needed to win, and NPI activation prioritization.
    • Understand market dynamics/competitive trends across USCAN Markets, informs Cardiovascular strategy and voice to the Global Segment.
    • Strong influencer in regions - drives region understanding of the Cardiovascular strategy.
  • Build and maintain strategic customer relationships to foster a collaborative external working relationships to in KOL management and development
  • Work with the Cardiovascular Product team and USCAN Ultrasound commercial teams to identify opportunities to create value propositions and promotional strategies for specific offerings using customer input, clinical data and design principles; communicates value proposition across USCAN region
  • Define sales strategy for Cardiovascular product portfolio (NPI execution, Lifecycle Management, enhancements, distribution etc.)
    • NPI activation to ensure prioritized NPIs are effectively activated with all necessary sales tools, configurations, pricing structures, messaging to ensure regions know exactly how to activate in their location.
  • Forecasts with product schedules, to include demonstration equipment pool management.
  • Accountable for positive leadership and culture of the team through ongoing direction, coaching, and career development of leaders; strong demonstration of GE HealthCare leadership behaviors
  • Own and curate product training to drive improvements in product training of our sales teams.
  • Embrace and understand the activation of LEAN concepts within an organization.

Qualifications/Requirements
  • BA/BS Degree
  • 8+ years of successful sales/marketing/product leadership experience
  • 4+ years of successful senior level sales management, product, and/or general management experience
  • Strong technical competency and understanding of GEHC Ultrasound Product Portfolio
  • Ability to develop and execute multiple priorities and approaches to meet objectives
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and team-building skills. Must be highly skilled at written and verbal communication both inside the company and with external customers to include executive presentation skills
  • Ability to influence and drive change cross-functionally in a highly matrixed environment
  • Healthcare/MedTech Industry experience
  • Strong management skills and capability to develop talents
  • Strongly compliance driven
  • Ability to travel including weekend travel for industry events

  • Proven track record of sales success and sales team rigor
  • Technical competency in using financial reporting tools

It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
