Job description

PART TIME / FULL TIME X-RAY TECH NEEDED FOR BUSY PRIMARY CARE OFFICE. We are not part of a corporation. We are a physician owned practice where your input matters. 

Monday thru Friday 8:30am to 5pm, FLEXIBILE HOURS AVAILABLE. NO NIGHTS, WEEKENDS OR ON-CALL HOURS.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Operate and maintain x-ray equipment to ensure that it is in good working order
  • Maintain a clean and professional x-ray room, clean room after every patient seen
  • Prepare room/patients for x-ray procedures and obtain clear images to be sent to Radiologist for reading
  • Obtain x-ray reports from Radiologist (EXA), scan and file into patient's chart for physician's review, check incoming faxes for radiology reports to be filed into patient's chart for provider review
  • Contact Radiologist/Radiology Company for corrected reports or missing reports
  • Contact patients to return clinic for any additional imaging requested by the physician

Qualifications required:

  • Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the State of Arizona
  • Graduate from an Accredited School in Applied Sciences Radiography
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a certified Radiologic Technologist preferred – but not required
  • Ability to work in fast-paced situations with a professional demeanor.
  • Associate degree, MRTBE and ARRT certification, and current BLS are required.
  • Current and valid driver's license
