100% FTE, Nights. Hours are 9:00 pm to 5:30 am. Week 1 days off are Sunday and Friday; Week 2 days off are Monday and Saturday. You will work at the East Madison Hospital in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Environmental Services Floor Technician to:
  • Perform floor care responsibilities in protecting and preserving of floor surfaces to maintaining appropriate appearance and cleanliness.
  • Perform maintenance, upkeep, and restoration of all floor types within the organization.
  • Perform a wide variety of duties including cleaning and disinfecting UW Health facilities, utilizing proper procedures, equipment, and cleaning chemicals to ensure a safe environment for all patients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred

Work Experience
  • Previous cleaning and/or customer service experience Preferred
  • 6 months of continuous employment with a single employer Preferred

Licenses & Certifications
  • If position requires driving a company vehicle, the following requirements apply:
    • Must be 21 years of age to drive a UW Health Fleet vehicle and must be 25 years of age to drive a UW Health vehicle rated for 15 or more passengers
  • Ability to be insured by Hospital's risk management insurer which requires
    • (1) a valid Wisconsin driver's license and
    • (2) successfully passing a driving background check Required
