EVS Tech I - Housekeeping

Full-time, day shift

** Must be able to work every other weekend

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Technician to join our team at Baptist Health Hardin. In this role, you will be responsible for executing daily duties to establish a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely room turnovers, cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms and support areas, and participating in additional cleaning projects as needed. The ideal candidate will adhere to Hospital and Departmental Policies and Procedures while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute daily duties to establish a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment.

  • Ensure timely turnover of patient rooms.

  • Clean and disinfect occupied and unoccupied patient rooms and support areas.

  • Participate in additional cleaning projects as required.

  • Follow Hospital and Departmental Policies and Procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to read, write, and follow written or verbal instructions.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1-2 years of Customer Service, Hospitality, and/or Environmental Services experience.
