$750 Hiring Bonus for new Team Members plus $50 in gas gift cards during our onboarding process.

Assists the EVS Supervisor with daily assignments in all cleaning areas. Coordinates all functions of Cleaning Persons, assigned Housekeeping staff, and Heavy Duty Cleaners while also cleaning and maintaining the appearance of the FOH and BOH casino areas, restrooms, outer buildings, RV Park, and other areas as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provides direction and leadership to Cleaning Persons, assigned Housekeeping staff, and Heavy Duty Cleaners
  • Cleans trash cans and ash trays
  • Vacuums carpeted areas
  • Sweeps and mops tile, brick, and concrete areas
  • Picks up dirty cups and glasses on the casino floor
  • Polishes furniture and fixtures
  • Performs laundry/linen receipt and distribution duties
  • Operates equipment necessary to perform job functions to include sky lift, ladders, and floor cleaning equipment
  • Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the same
  • Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
Required
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Strong knowledge and experience with cleaning equipment and chemicals
  • Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Professional appearance as outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, bi-lingual a plus
  • Must be able to work both independently and as a member of a team
  • A record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment

Preferred
  • Two years of experience in the operation of cleaning equipment and applications
  • 6 months previous leadership experience

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations
  • Must be able to reach above and below the shoulder, grip small items, bend, and stoop while performing essential job functions
  • Stand and walk for up to eight hours
  • Able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, bright lights
  • Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment
  • Respond to visual and aural cues
  • Must have basic English communication skills
  • Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations
  • Must be able to meet the level three or medium work requirements based on the Department of Labor Dictionary of Titles: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly
