POSITION SUMMARY: At Evolution Well Services, we are an inventive team disrupting the pressure pumping industry. Our unique passion for innovation and customer satisfaction not only makes us successful but also motivates us to keep solving new problems every day. As our services continue to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to further expand our footprint within the shale industry. This role is primarily focused on new client development for the placement of new build and existing electric fracturing fleets. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical, financial, and industry acumen and be highly motivated to help Evolution achieve continued success and growth.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may")
New Business Pursuit & Pipeline Management
  • Lead Evolution's pursuit of new hydraulic fracturing business by identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities with major shale oil and gas producers.
  • Develop and manage a robust new business sales pipeline, ensuring consistent engagement with E&P stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Strategically position Evolution's electric fracturing technology as the premier platform of choice in the market through proactive outreach and relationship building.

Economic Analysis & Financial Acumen
  • Construct and evaluate detailed fleet level economic models that support deal structure and pricing across diverse operational styles and basin environments.
  • Perform sensitivity analyses to demonstrate total cost of ownership (TCO) advantages, accounting for variables such as fuel displacement, power solutions, and operational uptime.

Proposal Development & Strategic Bidding
  • Take a lead role in the creation of comprehensive proposals and executive level presentations for high value business opportunities.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of regional market pricing, competitor service offerings, and supply/demand dynamics to ensure proactive bids and proposals are both market competitive and internally profitable.
  • Manage the end-to-end proposal response process, including the analysis of detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and the integration of inputs from cross functional teams.
  • Utilize technical acumen and strong internal relationships with the operations team to ensure a seamless transition from contract award to field execution for new clients.

Market Intelligence & Strategic Alignment
  • Monitor and evaluate industry trends, competitor movements, and shifting customer drivers to maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Meet regularly with senior management and internal stakeholders to maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Evolution's technologies and innovation.
  • Represent the "Voice of the Market" internally and to senior leadership to help inform future service offerings, technology enhancements, and strategic direction of the business.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Successfully passes all applicable general pre-employment testing including but not limited to: background check, pre-employment drug screening, pre-employment fit tests, pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).
  • Daily overtime required and in person, predictable attendance in Midland, TX
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License required. Most employment is contingent upon meeting company driving standards, including 3-year U.S. driving history and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company policy.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL
  • Bachelor's degree (technical or business preferred). An equivalent combination of education, specialized training, and relevant professional experience will be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
  • 5-10 years Hydraulic Fracturing sales experience.
  • Strong Hydraulic Fracturing Operations understanding.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

Flexibility with travel and a hybrid work setting is required and consists of the following:
EVO Office: Work at one of EVO offices (The Woodlands, Houston, Midland, Pittsburgh, etc.)
Target Client Office: Work at one of EVO's target client/partner offices (Denver, Houston, Dallas, Pittsburgh, Oklahoma City etc.)
EVO Jobsite: Work on site as required; ensure all prerequisites in place (including safety requirements)
The Business Development Representative may work indoors and could be subjected to prolonged periods of sitting at a at a desk station, keyboarding and using repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and or fingers. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus while reading and staring at computer monitor. They will also need to speak clearly and audibly, as well as have the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and /or other sounds (e.g., building alarms) deriving from in person speech, telephone, or other remote speech. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities. When required to visit a wellsite, work environment includes exposure to hazardous materials, operating conditions, audio up to 85 dB and inclement weather. Given these conditions employees are required to wear company mandated and issued personal protective equipment (PPE) (fire retardant coveralls, safety hat, steel toe boots, safety glasses, ear protection and safety gloves) and must strictly adhere to all safety policies. They may be required to lift heavy objects; therefore, must be able to lift 49 lbs. independently, and 50 100 lbs. with a team lift.
Work hours may include early morning, late evenings, and weekends, depending on business necessity.
