How We LEAD
Capitol Christian Music Group is seeking a Vice President of Data and Insights to lead strategy for Artist Intelligence across the label. This role is central to how data drives marketing and artist strategy. Sitting at the intersection of data, strategy, and storytelling, this leader will translate complex data into clear, actionable, artist insights that empower our teams to drive faster, smarter, and more impactful decision-making across a global landscape.
The VP serves as a strategic partner to the Marketing, Digital, and Artist teams- identify emerging trends, uncovering audience opportunities, and shaping artist strategy through insights. This leader will also champion a data-informed culture ensuring teams have the tools, frameworks, and intelligence needed to support artists at every stage of their careers worldwide.
How You'll CREATE
• Define and lead the global data, analytics, and artist insights strategy, ensuring data drives key decisions across the label.
• Partner with senior leadership to translate business priorities into measurable, data-driven strategies that accelerate artist growth and market impact.
• Transform complex datasets into clear, compelling narratives and actionable insights that shape marketing strategy, audience development, and revenue-driving opportunities across frontline and catalog.

• Oversee the development and implementation of analytics dashboards, reporting tools, and insight frameworks that enable teams to access meaningful data for daily decision-making.

• 10+ years of experience in data analytics, insights, strategy, or related fields, with a track record of driving measurable business impact.
• Experience in music, entertainment, media, or consumer digital industries strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to translate complex data into strategic insights that drive measurable business impact.
• Strong understanding of global music ecosystems, including streaming platforms, social media and audience engagement trends.
• Proficiency working with large datasets using tools such as SQL, Python, or similar languages.
• Advanced experience with data visualization platforms like Tableau, Looker, DOMO and similar platforms.
• Experience synthesizing multiple data sources (streaming, socials, marketing, audience) into holistic insights.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and analytical frameworks for identify trends and opportunities.
• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to balance long-term vision with hands-on execution.
• Proven leadership experience building and developing high-performing teams.
