The ideal Senior Credit Analyst candidate will have demonstrated equipment underwriting experience of large ticket transactions and data evaluation. The ideal candidate is a senior level analyst with at least five years of large ticket equipment underwriting experience with the ability to demonstrate their write up capabilities.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Independently analyze and underwrite complex, large-ticket credit transactions, including detailed review of income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and risk factors.
  • Develop comprehensive credit recommendations and structures that appropriately balance growth objectives with risk mitigation and credit policy adherence.
  • Prepare clear, well-reasoned credit write-ups and formal presentations for transactions involving sophisticated borrowers, complex ownership structures, and non-standard program features, for review by senior management.
  • Serve as a trusted credit partner to Business Development, providing guidance on deal structuring, risk considerations, and feasibility throughout the origination process.
  • Exercise sound credit judgment on complex transactions with limited supervision
  • Support portfolio quality and long-term performance through disciplined underwriting, timely transaction reviews, and ongoing collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Operations, Documentation, and other teams to address credit, documentation, and program considerations.
  • Contribute to special credit-related projects, process improvements, and initiatives supporting the evolution of the Large Ticket department.

Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance or related field
  • 5+ years large ticket underwriting experience within the Equipment Finance Industry with demonstrated experience underwriting complex, structured transactions
  • Ability to independently evaluate risk, interpret financial data, and make well-supported credit recommendations.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to articulate credit rationale.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
