Position Summary

BoozmanHof is seeking a highly motivated, relationship-driven Vision Correction Consultant to lead patients through their refractive surgery

journey while helping grow one of the region's premier vision correction programs.

This is not a traditional scheduling or administrative role. We are looking for someone who enjoys connecting with people, building trust, educating patients, and helping them confidently make life-changing decisions about their vision.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, results-oriented, and passionate about delivering an exceptional patient experience from the first inquiry through surgery and beyond.

Ophthalmology experience is preferred but not required. We can teach the clinical side. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, a consultative mindset, and a desire to help patients improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Management & Patient Conversion

  • Respond promptly to all incoming inquiries via phone, website, text, email, and referrals
  • Build relationships with prospective patients and guide them through the decision-making process
  • Schedule and coordinate refractive evaluations
  • Manage and nurture leads through ongoing follow-up and communication
  • Track and optimize lead-to-consultation and consultation-to-surgery conversion rates
  • Maintain accurate lead and pipeline reporting

Patient Education & Consultation Support

  • Educate patients about LASIK, Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE), EVO ICL, and other vision correction options
  • Help patients understand benefits, expectations, candidacy, and outcomes
  • Address questions and concerns with confidence and professionalism
  • Present pricing, financing, and payment options
  • Help patients make informed decisions that align with their vision goals and lifestyle

Patient Journey Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the patient's vision correction journey
  • Coordinate evaluations, testing, surgery scheduling, and post-operative appointments
  • Ensure a seamless, personalized, and exceptional patient experience
  • Maintain high levels of patient satisfaction and engagement
  • Encourage patient testimonials, reviews, and referrals

Referral Development & Practice Growth

  • Build and maintain relationships with referring optometrists and community partners
  • Participate in marketing initiatives, educational events, and outreach opportunities
  • Track referral activity and identify growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support lead generation and program growth

Program Performance & Operations

Monitor key performance indicators, including:

  • Speed to lead
  • Lead-to-consult conversion
  • Evaluation-to-surgery conversion
  • Surgery show rate
  • Referral growth
  • Patient satisfaction
  • Review and testimonial generation

Assist with the development and refinement of workflows, scripts, and processes

Support the continued growth and scalability of the refractive surgery program
