The evo Campus is located in the Granary neighborhood of Salt Lake City. The 100,000 square foot brick, timber and concrete block building includes the 52-room hotel, an evo retail store, and a Skatepark. What You'll Do
  • To understand and respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner, deferring to the Food and Beverage Manager/Restaurant Manager, when necessary, to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • To extend a courteous, friendly, and professional greeting to guests as they arrive, and to thank them as they depart.
  • To make the Manager aware of all guest comments and complaints.
  • Complete shift checklists and special projects as assigned.
  • Respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner working to resolve conflicts and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Properly prepare and serve coffee, tea and other beverages and pre-made food items, as ordered by patrons and hotel guests.
  • Always maintain an adequate stock of clean glassware, dishes, flatware as needed.
  • To restock and maintain all specified areas of the dining room to meet hotel guidelines for cleanliness and presentation.
  • Be familiar with the use of suggestive selling techniques to promote the sale of food and beverages.
  • To follow specified procedures to control the payment of guest checks.
  • To follow all specified procedures to properly open and close the bar, including handling bar keys, running SMS Touch reports and performing all necessary side work.
  • Maintain an adequate stock of beverages and supplies, in accordance with established pars and routine procedures, and be responsible for the security of beverage stock while on duty.
  • Maintain the organization of the dining areas at all time, including bussing tables and emptying trash as needed.
  • To review and verify previous shift's inventory, at the beginning of every shift.
  • Complete inventory of stock at the close of the shift.
  • To follow all specified procedures to correctly handle cash, including signing paid-out sheet for tips received, maintaining adequate cash amount in bank, giving correct change for cash transactions, ringing all drinks through the POS and accurately processing credit card vouchers.
  • To maintain the proper care and cleanliness of tableware and serving equipment, handling both in a manner that minimizes breakage.
  • Always maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
  • To follow all company policies and procedures.
  • To immediately report all suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions.
  • To always maintain the cleanliness and safety of work areas.
  • Follow all company safety standards, including proper equipment handling to avoid injury to yourself and others.
  • To attend all mandatory meetings as directed.
  • To perform other tasks, including cross-training, as directed.
