Job description

Who We Are
Addepar is a global data and AI platform empowering investment professionals to turn complex financial information into actionable intelligence. Addepar unifies portfolio, market and client data in a total portfolio view and delivers AI-powered insights within investment and client workflows. More than 1,400 firms in nearly 60 countries use Addepar to manage and advise on nearly $9 trillion in assets. Its open platform integrates with nearly 650 software, data and consulting partners to power end-to-end investment operations across firms of all sizes and complexity. Addepar supports clients worldwide with offices in New York City, Salt Lake City, London, Edinburgh, Pune, Dubai, Geneva, Singapore and Sรฃo Paulo.
The Role
We are looking for a Strategic Events Program Manager to join our Field Marketing & Advocacy team. This is not a logistics role, it is a strategic program ownership role. You will own the end-to-end strategy, design and execution of Addepar's client-facing events: our annual user conference (AddeConf), our executive summits and our community meetup program.
You will help define the strategic intent of each event, set success metrics, build and manage the content agenda, align cross-functional stakeholders and own measurement from attendance to business impact. You'll work closely with Account Management, GTM, R&D, Product Marketing, and executive leadership to ensure each program delivers real outcomes - not just great experiences.
The ideal candidate thinks like a strategist, operates like a program manager, and communicates like a marketer. You are comfortable working with ambiguity, driving alignment across teams, and making data-informed decisions about what makes a client event worth the investment.
Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. A successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York. The current range for this role is $94,000 - $148,000(base salary) + bonus + equity + benefits.
Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additionally, these ranges reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without requiring current or future visa sponsorship (for example, employment-based visas such as H-1B, F-1/OPT, or similar), and must be authorized to begin work in the U.S. on their first day of employment.
What You'll Do
You will lead and manage the end-to-end execution of strategic events, including content development, program structure, and stakeholder coordination from initial concept through to live delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and audience engagement goals
Event strategy & program ownership
  • Help define the strategic objectives, target audience, and success metrics for your event, including our executive Summits and community meetups, ensuring every program has a clear business case and measurable ROI.
  • Own event-level KPIs and deliver results reporting to senior stakeholders after each program.

Content & agenda development
  • Lead agenda-setting for each event: define session structure, content themes and narrative arc to ensure sessions build on each other and tell one coherent story.
  • Partner with Product Marketing, R&D, and GTM to shape session content and align on key messages that will inform the agenda.
  • Own content development, including hard deadlines, content schedules, speaker prep programs and structured dry runs.
  • Manage speaker logistics pre-event and during the live event
  • Develop a strategy for extending event content pre- and post-event: promotion, post-event distribution, PMM/enablement integration, etc.

Stakeholder management & cross-functional coordination
  • Lead a cross-functional working group across Marketing, GTM, R&D, and executive leadership - driving alignment on goals, timelines, and ownership.
  • Partner with the Client Advocacy team to identify and onboard client speakers, weaving authentic client voices throughout each program.

Execution & experience
  • Oversee end-to-end execution of your events: venue, A/V, run of show, vendor management, on-site logistics and attendee experience.
  • Design the attendee journey holistically - from pre-event communication to on-site flow and post-event follow-up.
  • Build and manage event budgets.
  • Travel to key events multiple times per year - primarily domestically, with occasional international travel for global events.
Who You Are
  • 6+ years in Client Marketing, Events, or a closely related field - with direct ownership of large-scale, multi-stakeholder events from strategy through measurement.
  • Proven track record defining event strategy, building content agendas, and reporting ROI to senior leadership.
  • Experience in B2B tech or financial services preferred; familiarity with wealth management, fintech, or enterprise SaaS a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage event budgets with accountability for outcomes.
  • Strong program manager: you can hold cross-functional teams accountable, manage competing priorities, and keep complex programs on track without losing the details.
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator; able to turn ambiguous goals into clear briefs, project plans, and stakeholder updates.

Our Values
  • Act Like an Owner - Think and operate with intention, purpose and care. Own outcomes.
  • Build Together - Collaborate to unlock the best solutions. Deliver lasting value.
  • Champion Our Clients - Exceed client expectations. Our clients' success is our success.
  • Drive Innovation - Be bold and unconstrained in problem solving. Transform the industry.
  • Embrace Learning - Engage our community to broaden our perspective. Bring a growth mindset.
