Eastern, LLC is a rapidly expanding commercial property services provider in the Mid-Atlantic region, recognized for its innovative approach and commitment to excellence. The Snow & Ice Division operates one of the largest commercial fleets in Greater Philadelphia, delivering reliable and high-quality service to a diverse portfolio of commercial properties. As a Field Operations Manager, you will play a critical leadership role, overseeing field operations during winter weather events and ensuring that all sites are serviced efficiently and to the highest standards. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a company that values initiative, accountability, and professional growth.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee field operations across multiple commercial job sites during and between winter weather events
  • Patrol assigned routes during storms to monitor service quality, manage crews, and ensure all work is completed according to scope
  • Dispatch and coordinate crews before and during events, maintaining clear communication throughout each shift
  • Conduct pre- and post-storm site checks, including equipment fueling and readiness inspections
  • Recruit and onboard team members to fill open positions within your territory
  • Track and report daily work activity, ensuring staff engagement and productivity throughout the season
  • Verify crew hours and ensure accurate, timely reporting
  • Perform pre- and post-season site inspections, including staking and documentation
  • Maintain consistent communication with internal operations and provide regular updates on site status, crew performance, and any issues requiring escalation
  • Log all service details using the company’s field app
  • Remain reachable by company-provided cell phone during required times
Qualifications
  • Direct experience in commercial snow and ice operations, or a related field such as landscaping or construction with hands-on snow operations experience
  • Proven ability to manage crews and dispatch operations during winter events
  • Strong knowledge of heavy equipment and plow trucks
  • Experience with operational planning for storm events
  • Ability to read and execute site-specific scopes of work
  • Excellent communication skills with both crew members and clients
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe PDF; experience with field apps is a plus
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to reliably commute to Fort Washington, PA (relocation required prior to start if applicable)
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays as weather demands
  • Some form of higher education preferred
Compensation

Salary: $55,000 – $70,000 based on experience. Performance bonuses available.
