The Fennec's five unique spaces: The Main Stage area, The Social, The Cypress, Ramblers Sports Bar & Grill, and The Foxhole Lounge, provide a variety of options to feature special events enhanced by entertainment from regional musicians, coupled with a locally progressive menu. The leaders of the Fennec have a mission to make excellence effortlessly routine.

At the Fennec, we are seeking an energetic and well-organized Events Associate to provide support to our Events Sales Manager. This role will assist the banquet sales manager with management of prospective and existing customers.

Events Associate Responsibilities:

  • Conduct events tours with prospective customers
  • Review contract details with Events Management for accuracy
  • Assist in following up with prospects and recording information in Events Management Software.
  • Support on-site event operations, attendee assistance, and customer support.
  • Assist Marketing with photographing certain events.
  • Communicate with clients as directed by Events Management, vendors, and sponsors to ensure events questions are answered
  • Track budgets, timelines, and milestones.
  • Help with marketing initiatives and content creation to promote events.
  • Assist in the creation of Marketing campaigns, social media posts, and public relations.
  • Provide administrative support to the events team as needed.

Events Associate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality or events sales a plus
  • Exceptional ability to plan and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, sales, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work occasional nights and/or weekends
