Job Description

Allied Universal Event Services® is hiring a Regional Manager - Operations for the Texas market. The Regional Manager - Operations is responsible for oversight of event security and guest services business operations throughout a designated region. The Regional Manager - Operations will provide leadership support to branch leadership on operational, financial, administrative, client relations, and staffing activities both tactically and strategically. The Regional Manager - Operations may expect up to 25% travel with some overnight stays.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure delivery of world class customer service to all clients while managing client relations, new job startups/transitions of new accounts, and employee relations
  • Attend client meetings, security meetings, and corporate meetings pertinent to the operational and fiscal success of the region
  • Conduct routine compliance assessments of all designated branches and accounts, including branch/account management, administration, and supervision as well as client satisfaction
  • Ensure Allied Universal Event Services policies and procedures are being properly disseminated and followed at all pertinent levels; coordinate and align Allied Universal existing policy into the unique event-based industry standards of which Allied Universal Event Services is engaged within
  • Act as an ambassador and liaison between Allied Universal Event Services and current and future clients
  • Maintain constant communication with Sr. Regional Director - Operations regarding client issues or concerns, leadership performance issues, client complaints, budgetary/fiscal issues, or other important facts related to any of the branches and/or accounts in the specified region
  • Identify, instruct, and mentor potential candidates for managerial and supervisory roles, both in the field and in the office
  • Ensure scheduling practices and procedures are being adhered to in order to ensure client orders are sufficiently staffed in a timely fashion via ABI and WinTeam
  • Foster positive relationships with functional leaders (HR/Recruiting/Training) with the end goal of developing and maintaining a reliable network of skilled and trained labor resources in the region
  • Audit all designated branches/accounts to ensure budgetary and fiscal goals are met and exceeded
  • Establish a positive culture of goal-oriented teams
  • Implement and monitor ongoing compliance with all company-wide programs, such as licensing, investigations (employee and general liability/auto), employee benefit programs, branch office procedures, resource policies, employee coaching/discipline, etc.
  • Responsible for region profitability: oversee control of all financial impacts to the region, including holding branch management accountability with event specific profitability, resource identification/utilization, unbilled time and unbilled overtime, and training expenses
  • Direct and administer the core event security operations of the region, providing guidance and support on all operational issues related to client relations (payroll and billing resolution, recruiting, and hiring, service issues, etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in criminal justice, sales, marketing, business administration, or hospitality
    • Associate’s Degree in criminal justice, sales, marketing, business administration, or hospitality with a minimum of three (3) years of security management experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of five (5) years of security management experience
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of general management experience in the event security and guest services / crowd management industry
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a leadership role involving the delivery of event and guest services to large multi-location customers
  • Work history to include demonstration of:
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
    • Detailed logistical and analytical skills
    • Demonstrated understanding of business processes and their purpose
    • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Highly effective leader with the ability to build strong relationships internally with all levels of the organization and manage under difficult service delivery timeframes
  • Willingness to attend professional networking or community events as needed to develop and grow business relationships and opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines
