Job Title: Staffing Coordinator

Location: In-person

Job Type: Full-time

Pranzi Catering & Events is seeking full-time Staffing Coordinator. This hands-on position requires attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality, people management, and creating seamless event experiences.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to stand and walk for 8 or more consecutive hours
  • Reliable transportation to and from venues across Rhode Island and Southern Massachusetts
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities effectively
  • Confidence in directing event staff and vendors
  • Initiative to take charge and remain proactive in all situations
  • Strong attention to detail
  • TIPS, STOP, or similar alcohol awareness certification preferred
  • Basic knowledge of wedding traditions, etiquette, and terminology
  • Hospitality, restaurant, catering, or prior event experience preferred
  • Strong work ethic and reliability

Responsibilities:

  • Attend scheduled events for set-up and preparation
  • Scheduling staff members
  • Recruiting and training staff members
  • Read and interpret Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), ensuring both small and large details are executed accurately
