Job description

As an Events Manager on the Global Events team, you'll own end-to-end strategy and execution for a portfolio of high-impact B2B events across Amazon's Devices & Services organization. This role is suited to a strategic, self-directed events professional who can translate partner engagement opportunities into measurable outcomes, build strong cross-functional relationships, and demonstrate strong financial acumen in budget management and decision making.
Working closely with senior stakeholders across FireTV and Alexa product teams, Developer Marketing, Business Development, and D&S leadership, you'll align events strategy with product roadmaps, partner enablement objectives, and executive communication priorities. The role requires approximately 25% travel.
Key job responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic contributor to FireTV and Alexa event investments, developing frameworks for partner activations that showcase technical capabilities, business opportunities, and differentiation
- Drive continuous improvement in partner engagement quality, customer satisfaction, and business impact through data-driven decision making and feedback loops
- Own end-to-end planning and execution of major industry events including CES, Alexa and FireTV partner summits, developer conferences, and strategic partner showcases
- Manage corporate events for D&S leadership that facilitate partner engagement, business development, and strategic relationship building
- Ensure operational excellence across all events through rigorous project management, risk mitigation, quality control, and contingency planning
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with FireTV and Alexa product teams, Developer Marketing, Business Development, PR, and other key stakeholders
- Develop and manage event budgets with demonstrated fiscal responsibility and ROI optimization
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience influencing innovation through a partner ecosystem with either solutions or programs that have demonstrated success at enterprise customers
- 7+ years of negotiations and vendor management experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
