Reports To:ย  ย Security Operations Manager
Location:ย  ย  ย  ย Lumen Field
Pay Rate:ย ย  ย  ย $23.25/hour
SUMMARY
The event security officerย will possess honesty, integrity, tolerance for diversity, good judgement, and the ability to resolve conflict in a constructive manner without the unnecessary use of physical force or escalating the situation. Additionally, the appointee shall always present a courteous and professional attitude and appearance. The appointee will have a record of dependability and being on time for scheduled events.ย 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Ensure security protocols are followed
  • Provide a safe and secure atmosphere for visitors
  • Familiarity with stadium facilities and wayfinding systems
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions, walk up and down stairs, along withย stand for long periods of time
  • Being a team playerย with effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Maintain consistent attendance, uniform appearance, along with aย professional appearance
  • The ability to read and comprehend instructions, policies and procedures
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by Security Management
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.   • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Previous security experience preferred, but not required

COMPENSATION
The hourly rate for this position is:ย $23.25
