Job description

Role: Event Director
Location: NYC
Salary: $85k- $90k + commission ($50k-$70k potential) , MDV Benefits, PTO etc.
The Event Director is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing private events, corporate functions, social gatherings, and special experiences across a restaurant group's portfolio. This role drives event sales revenue, manages client relationships, oversees event logistics, and collaborates with culinary, operations, and service teams to ensure exceptional guest experiences and profitable event execution.
Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and execute events, meetings, and special functions
  • Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams
  • Manage event timelines, budgets, and contracts
  • Oversee setup, execution, and breakdown of events
  • Ensure excellent guest service and client satisfaction
  • Handle event staffing and scheduling
  • Troubleshoot issues during events and provide quick solutions
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and clients
  • Monitor inventory and event supplies
  • Ensure compliance with safety and company standards
Qualifications
  • Previous event planning or hospitality experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
