Senior Events Director Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Events Director to lead the planning and execution of large-scale corporate events. This role oversees all aspects of live event production, managing logistics, vendors, budgets, and on-site operations to deliver exceptional experiences. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is comfortable working directly with executive leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and execution of large-scale corporate events (1,000+ attendees).
  • Manage live event operations, including on-site teams of up to 150 crew members.
  • Coordinate with venues, production companies, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage event budgets, contracts, and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
  • Serve as the primary point of contact during events, resolving issues as they arise.
  • Partner closely with C-level executives and leadership teams to ensure successful event execution.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience leading large-scale corporate events.
  • Proven experience managing live event production and large event teams.
  • Strong budgeting, contract negotiation, and vendor management skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Additional Information
  • Salary Range: $135,000–$170,000 (Depending On Experience)
  • Approximately 20 live events annually.
  • Events are primarily in the Miami area with minimal travel (10%) to Arizona and California.
  • Occasional weekend availability is required.
