Job description

Lytx is looking for a Corporate Events Manager to plan and execute the company's highest-visibility in-person programs: our annual customer/user conference, major industry tradeshows, and executive customer engagements such as the Customer Advisory Board (CAB). This role owns each event end to end including strategy, budget, logistics, vendor management, on-site execution, and post-event measurement. This role partners closely with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Product, and executive stakeholders to ensure every event advances Lytx's brand and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
  • Annual Conference: Own end-to-end planning and execution of Lytx's annual conference, including venue selection and contracting, agenda and speaker management, budget, registration, sponsorships, and on-site production.
  • Tradeshows: Manage Lytx's presence at major industry tradeshows including booth design and logistics, staffing, lead capture, shipping, and vendor coordination. The main goal is ensuring a consistent, on-brand experience at every show.
  • Customer Events: Plan and execute high-touch customer events, including the Customer Advisory Board, executive briefings, and VIP customer experiences, working closely with Customer Success and Sales leadership on guest lists, content, and outcomes. Identify and manage sponsorships of other customer events to extend Lytx's visibility and customer engagement beyond owned programs.
  • Budget & Vendor Management: Own event budgets across all programs, tracking spend against forecast, negotiating vendor contracts, and identifying cost efficiencies without compromising experience.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Executive stakeholders to align event goals, content, and messaging with broader business priorities.
  • Vendor & Logistics: Manage relationships with venues, production companies, caterers, décor and AV vendors, and travel partners; negotiate contracts and manage RFP processes.
  • Measurement & Reporting: Define and report on event KPIs (attendance, engagement, pipeline influence, satisfaction) and deliver post-event recaps with recommendations for future programs.
  • Project Management: Provide clear timelines, run-of-show documents, and staffing plans; lead on-site teams and troubleshoot in real time to ensure flawless execution.

Qualifications
  • 6+ years of corporate events, meeting planning, or field marketing experience, including ownership of large-scale conferences (500+ attendees) and tradeshow programs.
  • Proven experience managing executive-level or customer advisory programs.
  • Strong vendor negotiation and budget management skills; experience managing six- and seven-figure event budgets.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent events and competing deadlines.
  • Clear, confident communicator able to partner with and influence senior stakeholders and executives.
  • Proficiency with event management and registration platforms (e.g., Cvent, Splash, or similar) and standard marketing/business tools.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 30-40%, including some evenings and weekends around events.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field, or equivalent experience.

What Success Looks Like (Lytx DRIVE Values)
  • Deliver for the Customer: Every event is planned and delivered with the customer experience front and center, from CAB members to conference attendees.
  • Responsibility in Every Outcome: You own event outcomes end to end - budget, timeline, and results - and step in to solve problems without waiting to be asked.
  • Innovate with Purpose: You bring fresh ideas to event formats, content, and engagement rather than repeating the same playbook year over year.
  • Velocity with Excellence: You move quickly on logistics and decisions under tight timelines while holding the bar high on execution quality.
  • Elevate Each Other: You bring in cross-functional partners, vendors, and on-site staff as a team, and make sure credit and feedback flow both ways.

Benefits:
  • Medical, dental and vision insurance
  • Health Savings Account
  • Flexible Spending Accounts
  • Telehealth
  • 401(k) and 401(k) match
  • Life and AD&D insurance
  • Short-Term and Long-Term Disability
  • FTO or PTO
  • Employee Well-Being program
  • 11 paid holidays plus 1 inclusive holiday per year
  • Volunteer Time Off
  • Employee Referral program
  • Education Reimbursement Program
  • Employee Recognition and Appreciation program
  • Additional perk and voluntary benefit programs

Salary is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is also eligible for an incentive compensation plan. The expected hiring salary for this position is:
$123,000.00 - $155,000.00
