Job description

Title: Youth Life Skills Facilitator
Location: Pendleton, IN 46064 
Duration : 9+ Months 
Pay Rate: $21/hr on 1099  All-Inclusive

Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate implementation of the Next Steps life skills curriculum.
Utilize the Transition Coordinator Handbook to standardize practices.
Evaluate five Transition Consultations per student under teacher guidance.
Participate weekly in Administrative Release Committees (ARC) to reinforce reentry plans.
Conduct follow-up phone calls to released youth at 1, 3, 6, 9, and 12 months.
Represent the Division at conferences, meetings, and partnership events.
Assist in developing individualized Education Learning Plans upon youth entry.
Collaborate with state, county, and private agencies for reentry services.
Help youth obtain essential documents (social security cards, IDs, birth certificates, driver's licenses).
Support transitions to public schools, employment, apprenticeships, and military programs.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively in team environments (required).
Experience training, coaching, or guiding youth (required).
Experience collaborating and creating initiatives (required).
Experience as a spokesperson at events (highly desired).
Experience building relationships and partnerships for resources/services (highly desired).
