Job description

Events Assistant (Hospitality Experience Wanted)

Your hospitality skills are worth more than you think — here's where to use them.

If you've worked in hospitality, you already know how to read a room, stay composed under pressure, and make people feel genuinely welcome — even on your busiest, most chaotic shifts. Those are exactly the instincts we need for this role, just applied to a completely different setting: face-to-face events and brand activations.

As an Events Assistant, you'll bring that same warmth and composure to engaging the public directly — representing brands and campaigns at events, building rapport quickly, and creating a great experience for everyone you interact with. It's the same energy as a busy shift behind a bar or in a restaurant, just without the trays.

Hospitality experience is highly valued here, but formal sales or events experience isn't necessary — we'll train you in the campaign side. What you bring is the people skills hospitality already built in you.

A typical day:

  • Morning briefing on the day's event, location, and goals
  • Set up and represent the brand at your event site
  • Engage attendees or the public — building rapport, sharing the brand's message, and creating a great experience
  • Handle any questions or concerns with the same composure you'd bring to a busy service shift
  • Team debrief at the end of the day to review performance and learnings

Earnings: 700–800 per week

What we're looking for:

  • Background in hospitality, bar work, waiting, or a similarly fast-paced customer-facing role
  • Naturally warm, composed under pressure, and great with people
  • High energy and comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Ambitious and open to developing new skills beyond hospitality

If you're brilliant with people but ready for a change of pace, this is your next move.
