Event Coordinator (Onsite - Washington, DC)
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing various events from conception to completion. This role requires exceptional time management skills, creativity, and the ability to work under pressure while ensuring that all aspects of the event align with our clients' vision and objectives.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage event plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful execution of events.
  • Coordinate logistics for events including venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodations.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and secure necessary services.
  • Implement event marketing strategies to promote events effectively and increase attendance.
  • Manage on-site event operations, including setup, execution, and breakdown.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and attendees before, during, and after events.
  • Assist in fundraising efforts by identifying potential sponsors and managing donor relations.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and gather feedback for future improvements.
