Overview

The Hideaway Brew Garden is looking for high-energy, friendly, Event Staff Supervisor to ensure the beer garden continues to be the best outdoor music venue in the area.

This role pays an hourly rate of $30.00.

Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching.

This position will remain open until May 29, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and execute opening and closing procedures for the Hideaway Brew Garden property, ensuring operational readiness, safety, and cleanliness standards are met.

  • Supervise front-of-house operations, including guest welcome, reservations, and group check-ins, ensuring a smooth and positive arrival experience.

  • Lead on-site response to weather-related situations and emergency procedures, maintaining guest and staff safety at all times.

  • Provide cross-departmental leadership and support across concessions, bar service, cleaning crews, artist/band relations, and guest services.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for staff during events, addressing operational challenges, resolving guest concerns, and making real-time decisions.

  • Monitor crowd flow and venue conditions to ensure a safe, organized, and enjoyable event environment.

  • Support staff performance by offering direction, problem-solving assistance, and hands-on leadership during high-volume events.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in restaurant, hospitality, or live event operations; prior supervisory experience preferred.

  • Proven ability to lead teams in fast-paced, outdoor event environments.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

  • Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift/carry heavy items as needed.
