Calling all planners! We are searching for our newest Event Specialist. This person will primarily manage our tradeshow programs, with support for hosted conferences and internal events . This role is based in our Chelmsford, MA headquarters and expected to be in-office at least 4 days a week.

What you'll do here as an Event Specialist:

Core responsibilities include the strategic project management of assigned event programs, with team support for other creative endeavors as needed.

General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Own the planning and execution of assigned Axis conferences, tradeshows, and internal events.
  • Manage planning process, meetings, stakeholder communication, and attendee journey.
  • Onsite lead for internal/external attendees, vendors, and speakers.
  • Sponsorship strategy, show branding.
  • Facilitate event service orders, shipping, activities, lead processing, event software platform build out, promotional orders, and all other logistical functions.
  • Budget ownership for respective programs - building, reconciling, and forecasting.
  • Manage vendor relationships and support sourcing of vendors and systems as needed.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across the organization to understand our offerings, market landscape, and operations, aligning events to support the achievement of our company goals.

We'd love to hear that you have/are:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
  • 5+ years of event coordinating experience
  • 5+ years customer service experience

Not required, but awesome if you have them:

  • Certified Meeting Planner (CMP)
  • Certified Trade Show Marketer (CTSM)
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)

Target Salary:

The approximate pay range for this role is $75K- $85K.Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as physical work location within the state.
